The colors included are red, yellow, orange, blue, green, purple, pink, brown, grey, black, white, and tan.

What Else is Needed:

  • White Card Stock
  • Laminator
  • Laminating Pouches
  • Scissors
  • Hole Punch
  • Plastic Links

Identifying colors

Next, download and print the cards on white card stock. You may want to laminate the printables too.

Then, cut the cards apart and punch a hole on all the black dots.

How to Use the Bird Color Matching Activity:

For this color matching activity, your young learners will first pick a bird card and identify the color.

Next, they will sort through the birdhouse cards to find the matching color.

When your kids find the match, they will connect the two cards together with a plastic link.

Your students will continue matching the birds and birdhouses together until they complete the activity.

How to Differentiate the Activity:

Go Fish Game– Your kids can use the cards from this activity to play another fun game using the rules of Go Fish.
